The Symposium Program
The Program is organised into a variety of keynote lectures, presentation sessions and workshops throughout three days . The morning sessions will concentrate on lectures and presentations, and the afternoon sessions on several workshops. Two-hour lunch break will be provided between the two sessions where delegates are free to choose what to do . Delegates who have been chosen to present will receive a separate itinerary with specific instructions.

Registration at the Venue
Registration will commence on Thursday, 3 rd of November between 2pm to 6pm for delegates arriving early. You may also register on the mornings of the 4 th and 5 th between 9am and 10am . Please bring ID and print-out or fax of the registration confirmation that you will received once you have successfully registered.
Keynote Lectures
Invited lecturers and special guests will give a 20 minute keynote lectures with a Q&A session in the last 5-10 minutes.
Presentations
Invited lecturers and selected delegates will present their research and findings in various forms. The presentations will be separated into conference form, video presentation and poster presentation.
Workshops
Delegates and invited institutions will explain and demonstrate practical techniques in these 2 hour workshops, with active participation from the crowd. Some workshops will involve the use of real-life patients and clinical application of Acupuncture under the supervision of A.P.A.E. representatives.
Opening Ceremony
The opening ceremony will start at 10am on November 4 th , and it is to be held at one of the main conference rooms with an opening speech by our distinguished guests.
Closing Ceremony
The closing ceremony will be held at 4pm (subject to delays) on November 6 th at the venue's main conference room. Official Language
The official language of the symposium will be English and Portuguese.
